A short update today. Do you remember The ex-NY GIANT ALL PRO DEFRENSIVE ALL PRO Lawrence Taylor being arrested a week or 2 ago for purchasing CRACK COCAINE from an undercover cop? And do you remember his Profanity filled "NEWS CONFERENCE", after the ARREST?

Well guess who just checked himself into a DRUG REHAB FACILITY???

I want to point this out, you see if Taylor wasn't caught "redhanded" by an undercover agent, he could pass any drug test in less than 2 days. Cocaine, Meth, speed, downers, etc Most of the "hard" drugs pass thru the body so quickly, leaving virtually no trace that within a day or 2 they, the user can pass a drug test.

Now these are the drugs that the American People want a "war" over. Now consider the pot smoker, a low level user 1 "joint/month" He/she will test positive on a drug test for a week after smoking 1 joint, 25% of the time in a random drug screening policy you have a 1 in 4 chance of losing your job. Consider the regular user 1 "joint/week" on the weekends when not working. Will test positive ALL THE TIME!!! This from a drug that the UN(United Nations) WHO (World Health Organization) has determined in a 10 yr study, that the USA has squashed reporting of. That pot is LESS harmful than alcohol and tobacco combined....

Companies that practice random drug testing of their employees, and I work for one of them. Are only catching the hard drug addicts, not the hard drug weekend users. But they are also ensnarling the occasional or weekend pot smoker, who is the least risk of hard drug users, alcohol users, and cigarrette smokers. EX lets say I smoke a joint on Fri night, a co-worker gets messed up on CRACK COCAINE, or METH. Monday Morning we both get chosen for drug testing. I who smoked a joint FAIL THE DRUG TEST, the Co-worker on CRACK or METH will PASS!!!

OK, Now for some stories that was in the paper. This from Salem Ore. An 8 yr old boy has been suspended from school for singing a violent parody of a Barney and Friends song. See Story HERE

Don't you think this "ZERO TOLERANCE" thing has gone a bit TOO FAR???!!! Also in the recent news is a kid who's mom packed in his lunch a deadly weapon!!!! A BUTTERKNIFE!!!! She claims she did it because her son just got braces, and wanted him to be able to cut his sandwich into smaller portions that he would more easily be able to eat. According to the school, WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON LEATHAL WEAPONS!!! Mom and son waiting for final decision whether he has only a SUSPENSION, OR if he is EXPELLED FROM SCHOOL!!!!! Now remember PEANUT BUTTER is now BANNED in some schools. Soon kids picking on other kids will be BANNED ALSO!!!

QUESTION: If we adults can't keep up on the Political Correctness laws and policies, how can we expect OUR CHILDREN to???!!!!

Smoker Dave makes another appearence on local talk radio, KFYI on the John Dayl show this evening. And wins a book, High Crimes and Misdemeaners.

So what did you all do this weekend? My guesss is you had to spend some time resetting your clocks on the TV, VCR, Microwave, Wall Clocks, Watches, etc. Don't you think this is a Big Waste of Time in todays 24 hr society? Do you realize that people working 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri jobs are now no longer the Majority?

I'll tell you one thing, I am glad I live in ARIZONA where we don't play this "CLOCK" Game!!! Spring back, Fall forward, or whatever, is a WASTE OF TIME. Or is it Spring Ahead, Fall Back? We in AZ don't care, we leave the clocks alone.

10/23/98 Part II ART WILL RETURN!!!

Art made a statement at the beginning of Friday night's show on 10/23/98. The issue is not resolved yet, but it has improved. Art stated that it is a family crisis, PERIOD.

Then he announced that he will return on Wed. Oct. 28th. Which means there will be a "Ghost to Ghost" Show on 10/30/98.

The Middle East Peace Initiative, between Isreal and the Palestinians, 9 days + Of negotiations. Clinton wanting a Foreign Affairs Victory to help offset his domestic trouble. After the DEAL was done, Isreal throws a WRENCH into the works. Demanding that Jonathan Pollard, a convicted SPY be released!!!! HE was a SPY for ISREAL, our so called FRIEND in the Mid East, who we send BILLIONS OF $$$$$ A YEAR!!!! I consider this biting the hand that feeds you. The gall for Isreal to even REQUEST this is appalling.

BUT I know why they tried.....

The Isrealis' know Clinton is desperate for a political victory he can sell to the AMERICAN VOTERS before the 11/3/98 Election, to save the Democratic Party from sweeping losses, thus decreasing his chances of IMPEACHMENT.

The Gov't of Isreal read this badly. Even Clinton is not stupid enough to agree to BLACKMAIL from a Gov't that only exists because of OUR, the American populace, generosity to Isreal. Clinton knows he CANNOT say this TRAITOR is being released in the interest of PEACE in the Middle East. The Isrealis thought that we, the AMERICAN PEOPLE are dumber than what even Clinton thinks we are. Clinton knows that despite his high approval in his own domestic crisis, even at this point knows he may very well be Impeached by OUR representatives in the Congress who are better informed than the public at large. His hold on PUBLIC OPINION is tenuous, and he needs that PUBLIC OPINION to try to fend off IMPEACHMENT. "WAFFLING" to a Gov't that only exists because of OUR SUPPORT, would surely DOOM Clinton's chances of finishing out his elected term.

I assume you have seen the "PORK LADEN" Budget that gives $$$ for grasshopper research in Alaska, Manure disposal in LA, $$$ for research on the uses of WOOD, $$$ for remoldling Susan B. Anthony's home, (CAN't THEY USE THE SUSAN B. ANTHONY DOLLAR COINS TAKEN OUT OF CIRCULATION FOR THIS!!!???), Millions for Foundations set up by former senators and house members, a study for low branch level BLUEBERRIES!!!, etc. etc. MAKES ME SICK!!! This is how BIG GOV'T spends OUR $$$$.

And now some DAMN agency has declared that OUR CHILDREN are drinking TOO much Soda/Pop/Soft Drinks, On the menue for this is to Ban coin operated vending machines in schools, AND ADD A TAX TO MAKE IT TOO EXPENSIVE FOR CHILDREN!!! This looks a lot like the tactics the gov't started with against smokers. ANd do you KNOW that there are some schools that have stopped serving, and stopped allowing OUR CHILDREN to bring, consume PEANUT BUTTER in any form? Because 1/2 dozen people in the world are allergic to it. Airlines now have to provide a 3 row PEANUT FREE ZONE on flights when someone requests it.

Wait 'till AA wises up, a recovering alcoholic on a flight would be able to reguest a seat in a "NON-ALCOHOL SECTION" on the plane, I guess they would get 3 rows also.

The vegetarians, can request a "NO MEAT SECTION" for airline served lunches, 3 ROWS!!!

The Vegans, can request a "NO MEAT AND NO DAIRY PRODUCT SECTION" on thier flights, 3 ROWS!!!

On and on, No CHILDREN SECTIONS, NO SODA/POP/SOFT DRINK SECTIONS, OH!!!! The LACTOSE INTOLERANT!!!, NO MILK SECTIONS, etc. etc.I could go on.

SEE WHAT HAS HAPPENED SINCE THE OFFENDED WENT AFTER SMOKERS? See the writing on the wall yet???

I am now going to use a term tha Slick Willy used on Monica, "BLOW ME!!!" ALL YOU DAMN CRYBABIES.

TWO moons of Jupiter show more evidence of a liquid ocean, remember everywher we have looked, where there is water, there is LIFE. Now think about this, if there is liquid water under the ice crusts of these 1 moons of Jupiter, then they have had a ceiling of ice for over a BILLION YEARS. NO STARS IN THE NIGHT SKY, Perpeptual darkness. I wonder what could be underneath 2, 5 miles of ice with a BILLION YEARS of Evolution. See story HERE!!! I assume by now you have all seen the stories of the Military given a "GAG" Order on ANY negative comments on Slick Willy. This with the THREAT of Court-Martial. Do you think this was from someone in the Pentagon? Where the Military is having a crisis in morale because of Slick Willy? OR do you think this order came from the White House, Slick Willy himself, or Hillary, who has been since January been in charge of "Damage Control"?

Here in AZ Michael Poland was scheduled to be executed 3 pm local time. After his last meal etc. he was granted a "STAY". By a Federal Appeals Court in Hawaii. See STORY from The AZ REPUBLIC HERE!!!

Read the story so you know what he and his brother did 22 YEARS AGO!!! As recently as a month ago he was mentally competant. NOW because of impending DEATH SENTENCE being carried out. He became overly "stressed". And now is considered by his attourneys psychiatrist to be "DELUSIONAL". SO he is now unfit for execution for a brutal crime he committed 22 YEARS AGO!!!

NOW if you read the news article provided above, you see he will not be executed for at least a YEAR!!!!

I thought Mental competancy was relevant only when committing the crime. NOT in the Fulfillment of the sentence.

If LIBERAL JUDGES want to execute this kind of control, then as long as someone in prison who is INCOMPETANT MENTALLY, that time served DOES NOT COUNT TOWARDS THE COURT'S SENTENCE!!!

YOU CAN'T DAMMIT, HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!!!! The damn DREGS of SOCIETY are treated with kid gloves. Commit a Crime, get extra rights!!!! This REALLY BLOWS, and I am getting DAMN SICK OF IT!!!!

UPDATE 10/19/98 - Art gives us an update on the situation which was played from tape on Monday nights program, which was hosted by Hilly Rose. He says:

"Greetings to you from the Kingdom of Nye. Tuesday morning October 13th without prior notice to anybody without being advised or pressured by anyone, I resigned my position as host of this program. I did it for the reasons I gave then, because of a terrible life-threatening event which occured to my family about a year ago, as well as events subsequent to it. Although there is, (and I want to be sure you understand this), no immediate danger to my family. What did occur then, absolutely requires my full-time attention now. And to not give it right now, would surely be negligent and neglectful of those I love. Also to disclose details of what did occur, would have a rather immediate negative affect on my family and I will not do that.

Several news organizations, broadcast and print media, have uncovered what went on. So far, perhaps because of legal ramifications or one might hope ethical behavior on their part, they've chosen not to proceed with the story. For this I'm very thankful. Of course as soon as I can, if the story breaks, and I will not be the one to break it, I will discuss it with you, I'll tell you all about it.

You know developing this program, over the past 14 years, has been one of the great joys of my life. And you should know I miss it terribly. I'd like to sincerely thank everybody who has sent their heartfelt support to me. And there are many of you.

Since my resignation, my network has been doing their very best to help resolve the situation, frankly I on the night I resigned, I thought it could not be resolved. Now, I hope it can. Allowing me to return to what I love doing so much! But I need more time. While I can't discuss what in fact did occur, I can say this -- It certainly was not a publicity stunt or contract ploy as rumored by my competitors and detractors. It is real and serious. This should become self-evident to you when you know, and you will know.

I believe personally in the power of prayer, if you do, for now, that's how you can help. Goodnight."

Art Bell's Statement

Art stated that there is no immediate danger, but that this issue reguires his full time attention NOW. He also said that some news organizations have discovered what the issue is, but have not reported it. Last week when he resigned unexpectedly, he didn't think there would be a way to resolve the issue and satisfy his network. But that now, the network still wants him back, and Art said that it may be possible for his return.
